Works well but poorly designed.
I just purchased this adapter it did exactly what it claimed to do. On the other hand, the edges of the plastic adapter case are SO SHARP that they scratched the screen of my brand new Galaxy S21 Ultra. I have terrible ADHD and need headphones on low volume when I sleep. I slept with my new phone plugged into my new charge/audio adapter and my phone had a deep cut in my new phone screen! I'm not just being picky about an otherwise great product. The edges of the plastic are just seriously sharp. This quality issue should be addressed.

Worked great - for a week
Initially the adapter worked as desired, it kept my iPad charged while I also had an iRig HD2 connected. Now it changes to “Not Charging within 2 seconds of plugging it in, even without anything connected to the port labeled for “audio” .

Happy with this one
So far, so good. These typically work for a couple of weeks then crap out but this Belkin one seems solid. It has kept my iPad Pro charged while I use a DAW and a MIDI keyboard controller. I’m happy. It beats Apple’s camera connector dongle, hands down.

Works great!
I like how much you can do with such a small adapter. I can charge my phone while listening to music and it doesn't drain my battery! What's not to love? With almost every plug changing to USB-C, this comes in really handy.

Belkin quality and practicality
Belkin consistently makes practical enhancements to products you use everyday and this is another one. Like other Belkin products it's very well made with good, secure connectors and input jacks. It's handy to have a the split USB-C connectors in so many ways, in the car and around home with my PC when you need an extra USB connection - it seems you can never have enough. It's small and light for travelling with a laptop or to use with your smartphone when you need to charge it and you need an extra USB connection.

Finally
Finally, I can charge my phone and listen on my headphones at the same time!
I have a Google Pixel 3 and like many newer phones, it does not have the traditional (and obsolete, I guess) 3.5mm headphone jack. If you also have a phone like this, you're stuck either using expensive bluetooth headphones when the USB port is taken for charging, or using the speakers on the phone and disturbing others around you.
Not any more! This adapter from Belkin works great, allowing you to plug in for charging, and use your USB earphones. Finally!
